Welcome to our world of jewelry. Here, every piece is more than an accessory; it's an epic narrative from the heart of the "Island of Gems," Sri Lanka. We are committed to bringing this wonder of nature directly to you, guided by principles of humanity and ethics.

Our promise is rooted in respect for the land and its people. We believe that true beauty, from mine to market, must be pure, positive, and kind.

1. Royal Blue Sapphire – The Velvety Deep Blue

Material & Properties:  A member of the corundum family, its deep, velvety blue comes from trace elements of titanium and iron. It represents the pinnacle of sapphire quality with supreme saturation.

Origin & Source:  Primarily from Sri Lanka’s famous "Gem Belt," especially the Ratnapura (City of Gems) region. Its alluvial deposits yield the world's finest sapphires.

Sourcing Story:  Our Royal Blue Sapphires come from small-scale, family-run mines in and around Ratnapura. Miners use generations-old, low-impact methods under safe conditions. Each stone unearthed supports a family's livelihood and community prosperity.

2. Padparadscha Sapphire – The Sunset Lotus Hue

Material & Properties:  A rare variety of corundum with a unique sunset pink-orange hue, reminiscent of a tropical dusk or a blooming lotus—a true wonder of the gem world.

Origin & Source:  Sri Lanka is the primary home for this rarity, found mainly in the Ratnapura and Elahera regions.

Sourcing Story:  Finding Padparadscha requires immense patience and luck. We partner with local miners who see gem hunting as an art of conversing with nature. We ensure their toil is fairly rewarded, letting this rare glow shine with hope and perseverance.

3. Ruby – The Fire of Life and Passion

Material & Properties:  Red corundum colored by chromium, symbolizing passion and vitality. Sri Lankan rubies are cherished for their bright, often slightly purplish or pinkish tones.

Origin & Source:  Mined primarily in the Ratnapura and Balangoda areas. While less abundant than sapphires, their quality is exceptional.

Sourcing Story:  Ruby mining in Sri Lanka often coexists with sapphire extraction. The mines we support enforce strict policies against child labor, provide safety gear, and ensure fair wages, allowing this fiery red to warm hearts ethically.

4. Emerald – The Green of Verdant Spring

Material & Properties:  The king of beryl, its vivid green comes from chromium or vanadium. Sri Lankan emeralds often boast remarkable clarity and lively brilliance.

Origin & Source:  Located mainly near Kandy and in the Ratnapura region. These deposits are scattered but yield pleasant surprises.

Sourcing Story:  Emerald mining is delicate work. Our partnered small-scale mines are well-managed, prioritizing the protection of surrounding forests and water sources. A portion of proceeds is reinvested in local health and education, making green a symbol of life and growth.

5. Chrysoberyl – Understated Luxury

Material & Properties:
An exceptionally hard and lustrous gem, commonly found in honey yellow or greenish-yellow. Its varieties "Cat's Eye" and "Alexandrite" are highly prized.

Origin & Source:  Sri Lanka, particularly Ratnapura, is world-famous for chrysoberyl and its cat's eye variety.

Sourcing Story : Mining chrysoberyl tests perseverance. We ensure miners work in safe, dry, and ventilated conditions with fair profit sharing. Their dedication and skill bring this understated yet brilliant gem to light.

Material & Properties:  Part of the feldspar family, known for its adularescence—a floating blue or silver sheen like tranquil moonlight, full of poetry and mystery.

Origin & Source:  Southern Sri Lanka’s Meetiyagoda area is the almost exclusive source of top-quality moonstone, rightly called the "Moonstone Capital."

Sourcing Story:  In Meetiyagoda, moonstone mining is central to community life. Miners employ gentle, generations-old techniques to minimize crystal damage. Our direct trade ensures stable income for their families, letting this soft glow illuminate their lives.

7. Garnet – The Earth's Bountiful Gift

Material & Properties:
A large gem family. Sri Lanka is rich in Almandine (burgundy-red) and Pyrope (orange-red) garnets, known for their rich color and high clarity.

Origin & Source:
Found widely across Ratnapura, Balangoda, and Hambantota regions.

Sourcing Story:  Garnet mining is often part of broader family-run operations. We support projects where mining revenue helps improve community infrastructure (like water and electricity), sharing the bounty of this abundant stone.

Material & Properties:  Sri Lanka is renowned for precious Imperial Topaz (orange-pink to pink) and Blue Topaz, prized for their bright hues and excellent clarity.

Origin & Source:  Mined mainly in the central highlands, such as around Kandy, often from pegmatite deposits.

Sourcing Story:  Extracting these beautiful crystals requires geological knowledge and care. Our partnered mines focus on occupational health training and predictable work cycles, making mining a stable and dignified profession.

9. Zircon – The Brilliant Natural Diamond Alternative

Material & Properties:  A natural gem with high refractive index and intense fire. Sri Lanka produces fine colorless and beautiful blue zircon, often used as a natural diamond alternative.

Origin & Source:  Mainly from alluvial deposits in Ratnapura and the Eastern Province.

Sourcing Story:  Zircon crystals are brittle and require extremely careful handling. The respectful miners we work with use skilled hands to gently separate gems from sediment. We ensure their expertise is duly valued.

10. Quartz – The Source of Pure Energy

Material & Properties:  Includes Rock Crystal (clear), Amethyst (purple), and Citrine (yellow). Sri Lanka yields exceptionally clear quartz and softly colored amethyst.

Origin & Source:  Widely distributed; high-quality crystal and amethyst come from pegmatite veins in the Central Highlands and Sabaragamuwa Province.

Sourcing Story:  Quartz mining is often a first step into the gem world. We support initiatives that offer safety training and micro-loans to novice miners, helping them start responsibly—transforming nature’s pure energy into upward momentum.
